Route A, one of two hill routes, is a favourite route of members of the Križevci Association of Bicyclists on the road toward Kalnik. As with all of the routes, it starts from the centre of town and end at an elevation of 480 meters above sea level below the walls of the Old Town. For most of its length the route follows the old mountain trail toward Kalnik. It is ideal for recreational hill climbers, but depending on the pace, it is also suitable for more advanced MTB riders. The route is not in a circular shape, so the return is the same as the inbound trip.
